A Method for the Determination of Adenosine- 5’-phosphoric Acid and Its Homologues*

چکیده
For the determination of adenosine-5’-phosphoric acid and its homologues the methods which have been recommended chiefly are (1) enzymatic deamination by deaminase and quantitative determination of the ammonia split off (1) ; (2) determination on the basis of the pharmacological activity, (a) contraction of the isolated guinea pig uterus, (b) the characteristic change in the electrocardiogram upon intravenous injection into the rabbit (2) ; (3) isolation of the adenine by acid hydrolysis and nephelometric determination of its silver salt by comparison with standard solutions (3). Each of these methods may have its advantages for the investigation of special problems. There exist, however, cases in which none of them yields satisfactory results, particularly if a high specificity is required and if only small amounts of adenylic acid are available. By methods (2) and (3) differentiation between adenosine-5’-phosphoric acid and adenosine-3’-phosphoric acid’ is impossible; whereas, by method (1) adenosine as well as adenosine-5’-phosphoric acid is determined. Furthermore, in the latter method relatively large amounts are required, since the adenylic acid is the substrate of the enzymatic reaction. Despite the fact that the coenzyme properties of adenosine-5’-phosphoric

Determination of 18 ?-Glycyrrhetinic Acid in Glycyrrhiza glabra L. Extract by HPLC
A high performance liquid chromatography method was studied for determination of 18 ?-glycyrrhetinic acid in Glycyrrhiza glabra L. (licorice) extract. The operating condition were C-18 reversed phase column (VP-ODS, (250×4.6 mm, 5 mm)) at room temperature, acetonitril/phosphoric acid (3/1) as mobile phase, at flow rate of 0.6ml/min (0-8min), 0.4ml/min (8-20min) and UV detection at 230 nm. The...

متن کاملDetermination of Carboxylic Acids in Apple Juice by RP HPLC
Low molecular weight organic acids are most predominant in apple juice among these components fumaric acid was not exceed more than 5 ppm. It was thought that the HPLC is the best method of the determination of organic acids in the apple juice. In this study, chromatographic separation of organic acids of apple juice was obtained by preparing a sample and by applying them to acid phase for ...

The purpose of this reaserch is to measure the phase equilibrium data of the ternary system (water + phosphoric acid + 1-nonanol) at different temperatures. Experimental solubility curves and tie-line points for the system were obtained at T = 298.2, 308.2 and 318.2 K and ambient pressure. The binodal curve data were detected by the cloud point method. The mass fractions of each layer ...
